We had our ceremony in the most beautiful setting imaginable, Humboldt Redwoods State Park in northern California. The California coastal redwoods are so magnificent that I cannot envision a more perfect place to be married. These ancient growth forests have trees almost four hundred feet tall and over two thousand years old. What a wonderful place to declare our love and commitment to spending the rest of our lives together.
We had friends and family in attendance from places as far away as Chicago, Omaha, Denver, and Kansas. And since our wedding was a celebration of not only our love for each other, our family and attending guests also demonstrated their unconditional love and acceptance by simply being in joyous celebration with others identifying as straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, Christian, Jew, pagan, Democrat, Republican, multi-racial, multi-cultural, and everything in between. And with such an amazingly diverse group of people represented, there was nothing but a complete demonstration of amazing love, respect, and acceptance for all. Peace was the order of the day...
We had so many pictures (more than fifteen hundred) combined from the three professional photographers and many guests in attendance that we had a difficult time choosing only two hundred to share on this website. So when viewing the pictures, please be patient while all the thumbnails download.
With Much Love,
Alexus & Deb
