Life is a series of chapters...

Some chapters are meant to be read aloud in public while others are meant to be read silently and in solitude. These differences do not mean any particular chapter has more inherent meaning or worth; it simply means that life is a constant ebb and flow; and thus, to be experienced fully, our interactions must change accordingly.

This web site is a resource for those interested in transsexuality. The intent is to educate, inspire, motivate, and occasionally entertain. I am a post-operative transsexual woman and I hope these pages contribute to the unconditional acceptance of human diversity.

And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.

The last decade of my life has consisted of three major chapters. For the purpose of this website I will label them The Gender Identity Disorder Phase, The Transitional Phase, and simply My Post-Operative Life. There will be some overlap and some duplicate postings, but for the most part the chapters will be self-contained. And as always, this site will be a continuous evolution as I add new writings, refocus my intention, and refine my presentation.

Please enjoy my public chapters...

Some of you will recognize... that this is the third generation of my website. Welcome back! It’s hard to believe, but my original website had it’s beginning as far back as 1996. A lot has happened since then!

For those of you who are new, here’s a little about me:

First of all, the primary reason this website even exists, is that I am a post-operative transsexual woman. Without that seemingly slight bit of difference, my thoughts, experiences, and pictures would be of interest to only a very small, select few friends and family. Unfortunately, due to the constraints our current society continues to place on those of us who have different life experiences, the need still exists for these pages of education and encouragement.

Unlike when I began my struggle with gender identity disorder just over a decade ago, there are now many helpful websites that are written and maintained by others with similar transgender experiences. (Please check my Links page for those resources.) As a result, this site will deal primarily with my own personal feelings, photographs, and experiences.

Thank you for your past and continued support.
