Film Synopsis:

This is the story of a journey. Two middle aged gay men, who have been together for over 30 years, are making the journey of a lifetime by boat from one end of the British Isles to the other, chasing the arrival of Spring as it travels north at the pace of a walking man.

At one level this is the physical tale of the trip; the adventures the couple encounter and the extraordinary variety of people with whom they come into contact. On another level it is the story of their personal journey through life, and the difficult passage from middle to old age. Jeremy Norman, is 61 while Derek Frost, his partner, is 56. They are chasing spring in their hearts, endeavoring to recapture the feelings and optimism of their youth.
