We believe by helping these children we can give them a head start in life. Our hope is that they will grow into healthy, educated and well-adjusted individuals who will participate and contribute to their own communities and country. Who We Are... 
Chasing Lions Project is a non-profit charity created for the sole purpose of assisting the orphans and the children of Burkina Faso. It is funded totally by donations from caring individuals and churches. It is not affiliated with any particular church or organization, rather supported by many.  Our Goals Our Mission -  to give African orphans and the children of Burkina Faso a chance at a better life. -  to create a safe, loving and nurturing orphanage and school environment for the children in the village of Nioko 1. -  to provide them with a warm lunch and a start to a good education.
Since we are not a business or organization, 100 % of your
donations will go towards the following projects.  With the kind help of Global Compassion Services (GCS), a non profit organization,   based in the United States, donations received through GCS are fully tax deductible.

The founder of Chasing Lions, Sherilynn Tounger,  was recently awarded the prestigious United States Department of State "SOSA" award for overseas volunteerism, in recognition of the long-lasting impact the group has had, and will continue to have, on the lives of impoverished and orphaned children in Burkina Faso.
