Military Buildup for Vancouver Olympics?
Growing and expanding a federal footprint on or near the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State
From Bellingham to Port Angeles we have seen new patterns of military & law enforcement activity in recent months.
Not sure if this is linked to the 2010 Winter Olympics in B.C., or general Homeland Security efforts. Any ideas?

December 2009-
Fake police radio call - whoever did it should be prosecuted.
Note- it appears that US Border Patrol now responds to Port Angeles police dispatch. Several examples now posted on this page.

Federal grant funds 'Operation Alligator'-

Just the ticket for the day "Terrorists" abandon the sneak attack (Oklahoma City, 911, USS Cole, US Marine barracks Beirut, etc.) and go with a good old fashioned shoot-out between the good guys and the bad guys.
Same reasoning explains Homeland Security Gunboats escorting ferries on Puget Sound.
