Welcome to my photo site for my trip to Tanzania!

In June 2006, I spent two exciting weeks in Tanzania.  The first week was dedicated to climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, standing at 19,340 ft.  The trek was equally exhilarating and exhausting, providing the most challenging physical and mental test of my life.  In the second week, we went “on safari” in the Serengeti plains and Ngorogoro Crater, camping beside a Masai chief’s boma and near the Seronera river.
