Mission Statement

The mission of Move for Breast Cancer Awareness is to ignite a sense of empowerment for dance artists who are at risk, have been diagnosed, or who have been affected by the disease.  Through movement-focused wellness days, lectures and forums, and dance performances, MBCA will educate, support, and create awareness in the dance community. The Queens Academy of Arts and Dance = [QuA²D]’s mission is to produce, support and engage audiences and communities by uniting creative artists in dance and its derivatives with burgeoning exceptional designers and technicians.  [QuA²D] Initiatives, such as MBCA, are focused programs that further our mission’s emphasis on issues of importance to our community.
