Welcome to the website of The Official Elvis Presley Fan Club, Elvis-Aberdeen.

Elvis-Aberdeen was formed on 22nd November 2002 with the view to establishing as large a fan base in the North East of Scotland as possible, and to a large extent we have been successful with over 130 members to date.  We have members from all over Scotland, as well as Ireland, England & USA.

The club is run by six committee members and some dedicated helpers. Monthly meetings are held on the first Friday of each month at the United Services Club, 15 Bon-Accord Square, Aberdeen, AB11 6DJ.

The Monthly meeting includes a 100% Elvis Disco, an Elvis Quiz and Raffles with all Elvis prizes. Footage of Elvis can also be seen on our large screen and on TV’s located in the hall.

Elvis-Aberdeen is a non-profit making organisation and uses its funds to produce a monthly newsletter, subsidised trips to other clubs, events and outings. In addition, Elvis-Aberdeen has donated a large amount of money to local charities, and in the last seven years we have donated sums to the following charities;

           Aberdeen Sick Childrens Hospital

Grampian Friends of Arms (Multiple Sclerosis)

The Shanice Robertson Wheelchair Appeal

Royal National Lifeboat Institution

Purchase of a bed specially designed to suit the needs of Erin Beaty, a Banffshire girl who was partially paralysed in a road traffic accident

Contribution to Beanacher Community towards a training kitchen

Raised funds for Harley White Anderson for purchase of a helmet to correct flat head syndrome

Woodlands School  for help in purchasing new minibus

The Events/Outings the Club have organised include trips to see “Elvis-The Concert” twice at the SECC, Glasgow. We also helped the Glasgow branch to organise ”E in the Park”, where all Scottish clubs came together for a sports fun day followed by a disco at the Presley ancestral home in Lonmay, Aberdeenshire.  35 of the Fan Club members also had a trip to Memphis in September 2007.

Non-Members are welcome at all our club nights and would be made most welcome, so if you are interested or even curious to sample the club nights come along yourself or take a friend and enjoy participating in these exciting times for North East Elvis Fans.
