Alanna Levine MD, FAAP is a primary care physician caring for patients from birth through college.  She has a strong media presence and appears regularly on the Fox News Channel, CBS’s Early Show, The Tyra Banks Show, and ABC News Now.  She has spoken on diverse topics including autism, vaccine safety, Hepatitis, and Swine Flu.  Dr. Levine also shares her insights through digital media at juiceboxjungle.com, momlogic.com, and parents.tv.


Dr. Levine is a designated spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She is a member of the National Association of Medical Communicators, and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Council on Communications and Media.


Dr. Levine joined Orangetown Pediatric Associates in 2002.  She also works as an attending pediatrician at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center where she attends high risk deliveries and cares for babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  She maintains her emergency resuscitation skills while serving as a pediatric consult to the Emergency Department at Englewood Hospital.  She is also involved in teaching the pediatric residents from Mount Sinai Hospital.


Prior to joining Orangetown Pediatric Associates, Dr. Levine completed her internship and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.  She obtained her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel and a Masters in Medical Sciences from Boston University.  She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin with a major in Psychology.


When not on television or caring for her patients, Dr. Levine can be found in Nyack with her photographer husband, James, and their two children, Sophie and Charlie.
