A decade ago when I tentatively merged onto the information super highway and was getting my first glimpse inside the wondrous mysterious World Wide Web, I couldn’t have fathomed how integral the Internet would become.

As far as life staples go, it’s right up there with oxygen and food today. I never would have entertained anything remotely akin to the notion that one day I’d be posting my very own Website.

Then again, I never could have foretold that I’d purge myself of almost all of my worldly possessions in favour of a simpler material life and, for the most part, more rewarding existence in East Africa and then Southeast Asia.

Life! It sure has a peculiar way of knocking the incredulity out of a person!
