Welcome to my personal website which is intended for my family, friends and acquaintances. My professional site is currently off-line for revision.

This is an update as to my whereabouts and my current exploits. After roaming ENDLESSLY all over the country, I have settled, sort of, in Portland, Oregon. I’m now working as a staff nurse at a Kaiser hospital just south of Portland which, so far, has been one of the better jobs I have had. That means I’ll probably be here for a while (“yeah right,” I hear you say). We’ll see.

Check out my ‘blog’ for info on my recent activities including my annual trek to the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado. It’s a terrific vacation for film nuts and I go almost every year. As time goes by, I’ll be writing in my blog more often so it will become a good way for my family and friends to stay in touch with me. The link to my blog is at the top of this page.

I’m currently taking courses at two schools to get into the field of health informatics. If I actually do this; I’ll be working on computer systems in health care facilities. Right now, I spend my free time exploring this part of the country, learning the unique neighborhoods and sites of Portland, and attending theatre and film events.

Although I’ve lived sort of a nomadic life with all the contract work I’ve done all over the country, I’m very grateful for the experiences I’ve had, for the people I’ve met and for the friends I’ve made. Many of you live far away from me now, and I may not be able to visit you often, please know that I think of you and I hope you’ll stay in touch.

Best wishes and welcome to my website!

OH! By the way, this website is a WORK IN PROGRESS, so, it may look goofy for a while. I’M WORKING ON IT! And I hope you can read Latin.

Theatre and film are a couple of my favorite things so I thought appearing in costume might be nice. Here I am as a Knight Templar (taken at the Three Barons Renaissance Faire in Anchorage, AK). I am now living in Oregon which has one of the most unusual (and ugly) state flags. It’s the only two-sided state flag; it has a different design on the obverse than the reverse. On the front is a rendition of the state seal (boring) and on the reverse is a beaver (I rest my case).
