A performance poet and speaker, Judy's subject is life, from wistfully seeking to regain the body beautiful to anxiously cleaning the house before the cleaner comes. Such topics are treated sympathetically, yet that does not spare the puncturing of politicians or railing against the transport system. She mercilessly parodies well-known songs – the audience robustly joins in the chorus, though whether in exuberant self-expression or an attempt to drown her out is not always clear...
Live performances have ranged from stand-up at The Bull Theatre, Barnet and entertaining on cruise ships to lecturing at Harrow Museum and running workshops in Poetry Appreciation and Creating Poetry at Earnley Concourse.
