Apologetics and Apostolic Contextualization

This contextualization course deals with two purposes for Christian apologetics:  the defense of the Christian faith, because in every age historic Christianity will be under attack AND we have the responsibility to communicate the Gospel, and God’s Word, in our generation in terms that they can understand.

What does it mean to always be prepared to give a reason for the hope that lies within us, yet with gentleness and respect?  How do we unmask the reigning “principalities and powers” and embrace and embody a living apologetic that speaks to our age?

What does Genesis 1-11, John 1 &14, and John 14-16, 1 Corinthians 1 and 1 John 4, have to say to developing and articulating a Trinitarian apologetic?  What would a SYMBOL OF OUR TIME look like that is Trinitarian in nature and focus?
