Initially we were approached by OpenDoors to provide just filming and editing for this project. In the course of working together OD found that we could not only offer far more but that the advantage of doing so was that they were able to concentrate on their day-to-day work  rather than getting weighed down with complex project management activities such as sourcing and interfacing between various suppliers. Further more they had confidence that we were able to ensure compatibility between the various files and  formats involved in a sophisticated project like this...

OpenDoors’ brief was for an interactive learning resource disk that could be used by group leaders of a mature age in most environments. The solution we devised would be a DVD that would  play on both ‘stand-alone’ hardware players and software based PC Players. Our challenge was to create a simple interface that would allow the user to choose/play video clips from one menu for both systems. In addition PC users are able to launch a browser opening up the Connect website and text-based resources in the form of PDF documents directly from within the same DVD - call us for a copy!
