Nado Vivo “ Art is all around me, it is my life, I have studied art and now teach little kids in school. “ says the man behind the project he calls "Nado Vivo". Angelo grew up near Oporto in Portugal, a city with an array of architectural gems from Roman, Gothic, Baroque, Neoclassic and Renaissance eras. A city built into the granite cliffs at the mouth of the river Douro. An area famous for it’s wine history, & it’s desire to move with the times & be progressive. How appropriate then that he should manage to blend such a rich tapestry of beautiful styles into his music. Building largely upon the traditonal “Fado” of Portugal, Angelo adds some more modern elements from artists as diverse as Jeff Buckley & someone else, & creates his own very haunting & distinctive sound. “Nado Vivo is my first solo work, it is a minimalist project , I’ve had various bands were I was only the guitar player, so it felt quite natural to make it this way. I had electric guitar classes for around a year and that was it, most of what I know is from listening to records.
