Aileen Orr studied in London and Edinburgh, and spent too much of her youth in banking.  On leaving, eventually found a career as a political lobbyist for a variety of groups working in Westminster, Strasbourg and the Scottish Parliament.  Never choosing easy subjects, was a critic of Labour policy in the Scottish Parliament from day one.  Never a supporter of the new parliament building, is still struggling to overcome her hatred for the “worst cattle shed in Scotland.”

“You don’t keep livestock in a bog hole, they eventually die of  a malaise akin to mass boredom.”  Aileen Orr
Aileen Orr
Aileen Orr quite simply campaigns for Independence, not just as an Independent Nation but as an independent thinker.  Borderers have always lived on the edge, and have fought over the centuries for their rights to be Scots, it is morally unacceptable for any Scottish political party to support the Union when they masquerade as having Scotland at the heart of their interests.

Nationalists respect all Nations, we do not bomb others out of existence to give them their freedom, any idiot can do that.  Scots are intelligent enough to work out their own foreign policy, its called the hand of friendship.

The fear factor only exists if you let it, but don’t expect me to back down on Independence because its “aye been.”   No Party has ever offered me a respectable case for the Union, so they rely on fear to keep us united.  Sad.
