Michael Wert has trained in a variety of martial arts since 1990 and is currently teaching kyudo on Wednesday nights at the AGM dojo.  Most of his kyudo training has been conducted in Japan where he passed the rank of Godan (5th dan) 5th Degree Blackbelt in 2005.  He is a member of the Nanka (Southern California) kyudo federation which is a member dojo of the American Kyudo Renmei.  Although kyudo is often described as a zen art in the United States, Michael teaches kyudo as a budo--the way he learned in Japan.  Please feel free to contact him at milwaukeekyudo@yahoo.com
