Travels
The Great Argentina Adventure

In November of 2006, Tor and I set forth with a simple goal:  to conquer South America.  To be honest, I’ve been meaning to do it for years.  With only 11 days to give, we decided that conquering Argentina was a more realistic goal.  Though a bit of a compromise from Plan A, we felt that the nation’s large supply of argent (silver) and girls named Tina was ample reward for our efforts.
I need to preface that this was no ordinary ‘travel somewhere exotic and party’ kind of trip.  (We do that enough in Canada.)  This trip was about Patagonian splendor, high peaks in the Andes, and windy unpaved roads that lead to nowhere.  This trip was about Tierra del Fuego’s wild landscape, with ice-breaking ships, penguins, glaciers, and cities at the end of the world.
And above all else, this trip was about empanadas.  Oh yes, the empanadas.

Join us on our historic invasion of Argentina.  I hope that you, too, will be a casualty of our good times.
