We practiced today with the Kiwis, Kirk Pitman and Jason Lochhead. This is a much improved team. They have obviously been working hard in the off-season to pick up their level, and this year they have come on tour looking very good. Jason, quietly gets it done out there, turning a few heads along the way, while Kirk is getting a lot of attention for how much he has improved. Even Oakley has paid noticed by sponsoring these style kings.

Now if they would just learn how to play beach volleyball at a decent level, they'd be the full package. You can't only get by on good looks and good style, guys!

I'm obviously kidding. I just enjoy the opportunity to poke fun at them, as you may remember from the Heesey Awards last year. I gave them a bit of a hard time then too. But in reality, they have become pretty good friends of ours on tour, and actually are playing very well, despite their obsession with 13th place.

Look for them to turn some heads at one of the upcoming Grand Slam events - and this time I'm talking about their game, not just their hard style.
