Hi, I'm Arnold Reinhold, author of Switching to a Mac for Dummies, and this is my support site for the book. My book is aimed at PC users who are thinking of giving Apple's Macintosh computers a try, as well as those who have already bought a Mac and are trying to make the switch. I discuss the various Mac products, both laptops and desktops, and introduce the Macintosh operating system, OS X 10.5 , code named Leopard, again aiming at Windows users. There are chapters on moving files over to the Mac, finding applications equivalent to the one you use on your PC and Apple's iLife software suite. It's not a book for total computer beginners, so I don’t waste your time telling you what e-mail is or what a Web browser is for.
