I began ripping out the bathroom. This happened when I started to fix a leak that was causing the water pump to make obnoxious noises in the middle of the night -- and rot the floor. One thing led to another, and, well ... read all about it and see for yourself.

We want to use the Airstream this spring and summer while renovating it, so we're not the purists we ought to be, but then, so much of who we are is unconventional. Priority #1: safety; Priority #1.5: FUN!

They say Airstream put the bathroom in first, then built the rest of the interior. To do this right, you rip everything out from the front of the trailer, then work your way back. I'm not doing it right, but I'm doing it good enough.
