On Anagrams

I’m often accused of being a tiny bit obsessed with anagrams. I was going to make a case that this isn’t true, but it probably is true. I take a less elegant approach than most anagram enthusiasts, in that I usually just look at a large list of anagrams and harvest the most entertaining.

Its oftentimes entertaining, and perhaps too entertaining to me, phrases that seem comically relevant to a person are anagrams for their names.  While he didn’t address this directly, a talk I attended by famous magician and probabilist, Persi Diaconis leads me to believe that such coincidences are very likely to happen.

This being said, I’m taking it upon myself to construct the master list of anagrams related to the Ship of Fools. Some names just have far too many anagrams, and I’ll need your help to determine, what the definitive anagrams should be. I’ve gotten some help on this already, but if you oppose a choice of the ultimate anagrams let me know.
