Finally, after an hour’s waiting, we were allowed in to see the interior of the mosque.  It was more than worth the wait -- this is Sinan’s masterpiece in Istanbul.  Alex took this picture with the Nikon d70 and the flash off to capture the cascade of domes, from the inside.
