Standard poodles We have been breeding Standards for a relatively short while in comparison to Cockers, but have had a fair share of success. Most notably our CH Afterglow The Big Tease took the US by storm, finishing his title with a Best in Show at Poodle Club of America, and then onto many group and all-breed BIS awards. In his first month back home in the UK he has already won a Best in Show! We have always sought to create Poodles that are as sound and funtional as they are dramatic, combining the best of English, American, and European lines. A dog that appears often in our pedigrees, Afterglow Alcatraz, was dominant for his dead-on correct front assembly, and his influence is seen in our Poodles today. His daughter, our CH Magin Don’t Eat The Dasies At Afterglow has given us not only “Donny” but his two fabulous white sisters whom we hope will carry the Afterglow banner in the years to come. In 2008 watch for our stunning black bitch Afterglow Dita Von Tease who is the result of a half-brother x half-sister mating on ‘Daisy.’ In her brief career she has already won 2 RCC in large entries.
