Sunset

 
 
the shadows grow along the marsh.  The sun slowly slips below the horizon, reflecting yellow, blue, and scarlet colors along the still tidal waters. The Palmetto trees catch the last minutes of low angle sunlight, lighting up like several golden columns stretched along the length of a distant marsh hammock.


We drift and the dolphins play as the Sun says “good night” to the Lowcounty.
