We Found a New School

This morning Alejandra went with daddy and abuelita to look at the possible replacement preschool. She went in and made herself at home, running over to the fish tank, then playing with some of the toys. We had a quick tour, and you could quickly understand why this will be a better preschool for Alejandra. Dad finished up the paperwork, and she will be starting the first week of December.

What’s up with the time change still messing with our sleep? Little Alejandra was EXHAUSTED tonight. She was ready to go to bed on her way home from swim class at 6:15! Mamí felt like she needed to put on her p.j.’s as well.
When we got home after swim class Alejandra ate her weight in pasta. She then asked for a “getta” (cookie/galleta) and leche. She ate her snack and wanted more

Unlike most days, abuelita had to take Alejandra to school this morning. Mom and dad had to switch cars, and dad’s doesn’t have a car seat. Not a big deal, but mom really enjoys taking her little girl to school in the morning. Dad left the house too early to take her himself.

We write often about how independent and strong little miss A is, today was no exception. Here are all the wonderful things she did today that we are so proud of:
1. She spoke ALL Spanish in her Spanish class.
2. The Spanish teacher said she was proud of her little class of bebes.
3. Tonight she asked to use the bathroom at swim school both before and after.
4 We reminded her to walk

Little miss still has goopy eyes and a cough. But, as you can see from the picture she is still smiling away! She went off to school this morning and said “A morning!” to her teacher. This weekend Mark and I made the decision that we weren’t happy about her preschool experience so we notified them today that we would be taking her out of the program.
