My First Haircut with Mom and Dad

Ms. Alejandra is best known for her sparkling eyes, her curious smile, and “the hair.”  When we first met Alejandra she had a bald little head that had just been shaved.  We have let her hair grow out and it has been fun watching it grow and trying to figure out what it is going to be.  Originally we thought “definitely straight”, but it just kept growing and getting puffier and puffier.  We now know that she will have beautifully wavy hair that will be easy to style once it gets long enough.  But for now she has a little poof ball  on her head that needs to be tamed!
Yesterday, we decided that it was time to go and get it cut.  We went to a local kids salon and 5 minutes and lots of tears later Ms. Alejandra got a little trim job on the back.  She was all smiles when the cape was first put on, but she did not like her arms being confined under the cape.  Then, the hair dresser decided to blow dry her hair and that really scared Alejandra.  She started bawling and she was SO done and ready to be out of there.
We’re hoping to continue trimming until it all ends up in a bob.  She is still cute no matter what length her hair is.

Don’t you love my new look!
Before the tears started.
