New York City Retreats
Retreats are three-days long and include eight-hours of classes per day as well as theatre tickets on one night. The schedule to the right is an example of our 2007 Retreat. Fee does not include travel or housing.
$650 per student
OUTREACH and REGIONAL WORKSHOPS
MOVEABLE ARTS negotiates all fees for workshops outside of New York City with the client or venue individually. Engagements can last anywhere from one day to several weeks.
We typically charge a per student rate with a minimum fee of no less than $1500. Please contact us for more information.
educators’ observer-ship
Educators have been asking how they might get involved with our program, so we have established the Moveable Arts Observer-ship: A limited number of spots will be reserved for educators who would like to sit in on classes and discussions during our Retreats.
The cost is $395 and includes tickets to a Broadway show!
private coaching
A select number of the Moveable Arts collective are available for private sessions in dance, monologue and song preparation:
- college auditions
- reality check-ups for recent arrivals to NYC.
Rates begin at $140 / hour. Special rates for January and February! Starting at $100.
corporate rate
Any student who participates in a Moveable Arts event or program may receive a scholarship to our summer or winter Retreat in New York City. This offer is good for one year following the initial association, and may include two retreats.
The rate is $525 (regular $650)
The two-day ACTING / TECH EMPHASIS focuses on monologues and scenes, audition material, technical tours and classes in Broadway theatres, and general professional etiquette in the Broadway theatre.
