Our adoption journey began in July 2004 when we submitted our first set of paperwork to our adoption agency, Holt International Children’s Services. We were so excited to start the process, knowing that at the end of all of this paperwork, there would be a child waiting to bless our lives. Two years later, we are now proud parents of our beautiful daughter, Marielle. She is our first and only child, so I’m sure you can imagine how many home videos and photos we have of her! We wanted to be able to share Marielle’s story with our loved ones, but didn’t want to have them sit through hours and hours of video footage and endless photographs (although we wouldn’t mind!). We decided to create a video scrapbook, highlighting our trip to and from the Philippines to bring our daughter home.
