AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Acme Theatre Company invites all 9th
-12th graders to audition for its upcoming winter production
of Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl. Auditions will be held October
15, 16 and 17, as follows:
4pm – 6pm on Thursday, October
15: Group Audition Session in DHS Vocal Room
2:30pm – 7pm on Friday, October 16: 5-minute Audition Slots in Brunelle
Green Room
1:00pm – 5:00pm on Saturday, October 17: CALL-BACKS in DHS
Vocal Room
All actors will need to attend the full Thursday session AND sign up for a 5-minute session on Friday.
No preparation is required. On Thursday, actors will be given a packet of monologues and asked to prepare one for Friday’s individual session. Individual actors may be called-back and asked to attend the Saturday session.
CAST SIZE: 7
Actors (1 Female, 3 Males, 3 Gender Neutral)
REHEARSALS: November 2 – January
7, with intense rehearsals during Winter Break.
PERFORMANCES: January
8, 9, 10 and 14, 15, 16 at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, January 16 features an additional 2:00pm matinee.
