We meet in a variety of settings to take part in listening and or participating in the topic for the evening, we endeavor to provide up to date information and this year we are concentrating on the Foundation Phase and how to get new ideas for you to put to work in your own placement.

We are welcomed into early years settings, schools and nurseries so we meet like minded people and are able to talk with staff about their ideas.

We are very happy to be able to meet in schools and nurseries and are grateful for this opportunity and extend our thanks to all the staff for their efforts.

           Aims of the Association

       Through meetings and discussion we aim to:                                                     

    §  widen understanding of issues of current interest in 

        early childhood development

    §  bring together people who work with children aged 0-7 

        and their families

    §  share good practice in early childhood care and

        education in the family and community

      Membership is open to anyone interested in the                

                      Early Childhood Association

                    and Foundation Phase issues___________________
