Tok School 1:1 Parent Night - February 12, 2007

Andre' Layral, with Alaska Association of School Boards, hosted a Talk, Listen, Look, Engage workshop for parents. The workshop covered a wide range of issues for parents related to the safe and ethical use of technology, with particular emphasis on connecting and interacting with your child, monitoring what children should or should not be doing to ensure their safety on the Internet and ensuring the family/school computer is properly used as a tool for supporting their child's learning and academic success.

Parents, educators and students came together to learn more about how their students can use their computers to enhance their education, as well as how parents can stay involved with their kids in this new initiative.
