BA-DEREKH: On the Way -- A Presentation of Process Theology
Most Conservative Jews have long ago abandoned belief in an angry sky God who forces obedience by punishing sin with damnation and rewarding ritual stringency with a heavenly feast. For those who love both tradition and modernity, who find wisdom in Torah and science, how do we interpret what we know with what we love? Process thought offers a fresh, dynamic way to understand ourselves, the world, God and Torah. These talks will lay out the broad insights and approaches of Process Theology, and then apply those insights to Jewish thought and sacred texts.
