TP WINS Largest Dirt Ball Pot in Section115 History $169

March 1, 2008 - Dirt Ball was played again this year at Section115.  TP was the big winner.  In fact the largest take in our 10 year history. I hope he didn’t spend it all in one place.

March 13, 2008 - Well I made it back safely to New Hampshire.  With all the weather in the Houston area (Southwest’s largest hub) and the fact that the FAA grounded many of Southwest’s aircraft it was an adventure to say the least.  I was delayed out of Las Vegas (waiting on a plane and crew) for several hours and arrived in Manchester at about 3am EDT.  Made for quite a long day.  All is well today.  23 degrees and sunny skies.  I sure enjoyed the 74 degrees and sunny skies in Tucson.

Now I will have to just sit and wait for the weather to get better so I can ride my Harley.

I have uploaded most of my pictures from spring training on the website.  The Gallery website is in a Mac format so if you have trouble viewing or downloading pictures (buy a Mac) let me know and I can email selected pictures to you as you require.  I added a new gallery of action on the  field. (click on “field” to see that page, it will open in a new window)  What I uploaded today on the original Gallery page was us enjoying the game in the stands.

I had a great time, it was just too short and now back to work.

Birthday Party for Charlie Bass.  Charlie is having his annual birthday party at his residence Saturday March 1 after the games.  Not only do we get to share in the celebration of Charlie turning 49 + shipping and handling, it is a great way to start the season and watch a tree or two burn.  The google map in the upper right already has Charlie’s address plugged in so if you need directions just click on the “To here” and away you go.

I hope to see all of you there.

As you can seed this page has changed as well as other pages on the website.  I recently purchased a Macintosh computer and to, keep a long story short,  I am redesigning the website.  Hopefully everyone will like the new design along with some of the old.  As you can see I added a google map above.  What a neat feature.  I am fully aware all of us know how to get to the ballpark but I thought I would add it anyway...so there!  The main page of Section115.com is pretty much the same with a few different destinations when you click some familiar links.  The “Gallery” page is now linked to the “mac” portion of the site with all the pictures I have of spring training.  You can upload directly to the website your own pictures if you like and of course you can download any or all that you want from the gallery to print, save or whatever.

I will be arriving in Tucson Wednesday night the 27th and will have to leave the following Thursday morning. (Mar 6).  Duty calls so a short March vacation for me this year.  Audrey will be in town from Feb 28th until Mar 15.  Daniel will be arriving on the 10th of March for his 2 weeks pre-deployment leave before he heads off (destination classified) to fight terrorism and to keep us all safe.  I’m sure he can take my place in my seat...and take up much less space.  Roger is coming down from New Hampshire around Mar 10th but his plans are not firm yet.  We don’t see enough of each other as it is so we go on vacation together too!

Sunday night (March 2) about 5:30pm we are planning a dinner at Corleone Restaurant with Paul Elia singing during dinner Frank Sinatra hits.  We have always enjoyed this restaurant and the entertainment.  It is a great time.  Come join us.  I’ll have more details soon since reservations are required.

Goings on for Section115
