Isn’t God just absolutely amazing!!! We received a call from our agency, Holt International, asking if we would accept a referral of a 10 month old little BOY!!! Now how a boy you ask? Well, you see, God created Aaron with a small opening in his heart. Rick explained to the girls that God made him with this little opening so that we could enter Aaron’s heart and then God could close it! (Okay, I’m crying as I listen to my amazing husband telling our daughters this!) The girls are so excited and so proud to show off his picture! We ask that you join us in prayer for Aaron’s protection and healing as well as for FAST, MIRACULOUSLY FAST, clearance of his paperwork in China so we can GO GET HIM!! We don’t know much at this point, but they tell us we should travel within 2 - 5 months. His first birthday is November 30th, 2007. Wouldn’t it be cool to be in China for his birthday??? That would truly be a miracle!
Aaron is currently in the Fengxin Welfare Institute in Jiangxi, China. This is the province just north of where Natalie and Neeleigh are from (Guangdong province). He was reported to be 11 pounds and 23-1/2” long at 6 months old.
We will update you as we hear things. Right now we are waiting for his updated homestudy to be authenticated by the Chinese Consulate in Houston, TX. It will then be sent to our agency and then off to China to join all the other paperwork we have sent. So please pray!!
