Jeff has a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from Austin Peay State University and attended Belmont University for Music Business.  He holds a diploma in Professional Guitar Studies from Music Tech, now known as McNally Smith College of Music (www.mcnallysmith.edu).  Jeff has studied with a multitude of great teachers including Ben Bolt, Stanley Yates, Stephen Webber, Jeff Wrestle, David Crittenden, and Stan Lassiter.


Jeff has been teaching guitar and other music related subjects since 1989.  He became Director of the Knoxville area Childbloom Guitar Program in 1998, the first in Tennessee. 


Jeff began playing music in 1967 and adopted guitar as his main instrument in 1974.  Since that time, he has performed throughout the United States and it’s territories, and still performs on a regular basis.


Jeff has composed music for guitar, guitar ensemble, piano, saxophone, flute, voice, and other instruments.
