Immigration Update
Last week Amy and I went to see an immigration attorney to discuss our options for permanent residence. Our goal was to share with him what we’ve tried, and what we are planning from here to see if we were even on the right track. We didn’t end up hiring the attorney to represent us (interesting experience to say the least), but we did learn some things about what we need to do next.

A trip to Oregon, Moving, and More!
So this is a quick update on a lot of info. Two weeks ago Amy and I got to go back down to Eugene, Oregon to visit with our new partner church, Garden Way, and to help out at their middle school summer camp at Grove Christian Camp. What a week. I was privileged with the opportunity to preach at Garden Way on Sunday, July 12th to usher in our new partnership. You can see my sermon on Garden

We were lucky enough to have Erin and Adam Goddard come visit us from Oregon at the end of June. We had a great visit with hiking, exploring Vancouver, and just hanging out. Community Service and New Garden
On June 6th The Vine had a great opportunity to join a couple neighborhood organizations for some community service. Paul and Julie joined in a massive effort to give a face-lift to a run down block in our neighborhood. A group called MOBY (My Own Back Yard) together with several other community groups had taken on the task of building a new playground for neighborhood kids in an area that
