Greg and Laura Gerber were incredibly hospitable to me on this trip.  Thanks so much you guys (and to Ryan, Austin, Reese, and Luke as well) for taking good care of me.  It was great to see you again and see all that the Lord is doing in your lives these days.  He’s good, isn’t He?

Last Thursday night hundreds of students from all over the lower mainland (Abbotsford, Surrey, and surrounding areas) gathered in a horse riding arena for a night of worship.  Set in one of the most unique environments in which I’ve led played, ‘Worship in the Ring’ was an amazing night!

I wanted to say a special thanks to Darcy White, John Paulson, and Mark Hildebrand who played the concert with me.  It was really cool to meet some killer musicians from Canada!

Over the weekend I was at a retreat with the Hope Community Church worship team and leadership.  The worship team and I did a music clinic together and led worship for church on Sunday.

The musicians at Hope were incredibly gracious and hospitable to me; they also worked really hard during rehearsals.  Good times!

It was a wonderful weekend of worshiping, laughing, and reflecting on God’s call on our lives together.

We had some free time Sunday afternoon so Greg and a couple of his buddies took me on a killer hike.  Called the Grouse Grind, it ascends 1800 ft. up to a spectacular lookout and restaurant.  The views of Vancouver and the north shore mountains were incredible.  Thank you, Lord for an amazingly clear day!
